An American actor whose most famous role was a voice performance, Phipps provided the voice for Prince Charming in Disney’s Cinderella (1950). He regularly appeared in sci-fi films throughout the 1950s including Five (1951), The War of the Worlds (1953) and Cat-Women of the Moon (1953).
