An American titles designer who helped elevate his art form during a prolific career, Fitzgerald was responsible for many of the most memorable opening moments in film and television including 24 films that were nominated for the Best Picture Oscar. His most iconic work included Pillow Talk (1959), Bonnie and Clyde (1967), Footloose (1984) and Total Recall (1990).
