A British writer who wrote for the stage, television and radio, Daly served as the chairman of the Writers’ Guild of Great Britain between 1988-1989. He notably wrote There Comes a Time (1985) and Juliet Bravo (1983-1985) for TV and also contributed scripts to Casualty (1986-1988) and Byker Grove (1992).
