A Polish production designer dubbed Voytek theatre director George Devine known, Wojciech Szendzikowski was known for his energy and versatility in theatre, film and television. His notable credits included Cul-de-sac (1964) and Squaring The Circle (1984), and he won Best Design BAFTAs for For The Rose Affair (1961) and Dandelion Dead (1994).
