Veronica Hurst

A British actress, born in Malta, who carved out a successful film and television career. Hurst made her debut in the feature film Laughter in Paradise (1951) and went on to make such films as Angels on Fire (1952), The Maze (1953), The Royal African Rifles (1953), Don’t Blame the Stork (1954), Bang! You’re Dead (1954), The Gilded Cage (1955), Peeping Tom (1960) and The Boy Cried Murder (1966). On the small screen, she had roles in The Flaxton Boys (1971) and General Hospital (1973-1975), and made guest appearances on the likes of The Pursuers (1961), Coronation Street (1966), The Baron (1967), Man in a Suitcase (1968) and Dixon of Dock Green (1968-1971).
