A British actress, writer and producer best-known for her work alongside then husband Gerry Anderson on puppet shows including Stingray (1964-1965), Thunderbirds (1965-1966) and Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons (1967-1968). Sylvia Anderson was involved in all aspects of the shows she co-created, from penning storylines and designing costumes, to directing dialogue and performing voices herself, including Thunderbirds’ iconic Lady Penelope.
