A British journalist and broadcaster who began her career at ITN working on News at Ten (1975-1981), Lloyd-Roberts’ had a stint at Channel 4 before joining the BBC in 1992. She was renowned for fearlessly reporting from war zones around the world and exposing human rights abuse through programmes such as Newsnight.
