Gaffer, Rigging Gaffer, Best Boy

A British electrician, who worked as a gaffer, rigging gaffer or best boy in a 40-plus year career. Steve Kitchen worked mostly in film, although he did do some television productions, including A Christmas Carol (1984), Paradise Postponed (1986) and Desperate Romantics (2009). His film work was prolific and included The Great Muppet Caper (1981), The Company of Wolves (1984), Cry Freedom (1987), Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989), Howards End (1992), Die Another Day (2002), Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging (2008), Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation (2018), Beauty and the Beast (2017) and Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again! (2018).
