Sir Peter Hall CBE

A British director whose career had a momentous effect on modern theatre, Hall created the Royal Shakespeare Company in 1961 and later served as the director of the National Theatre. When directing for the screen he received BAFTA nominations for She’s Been Away (1989) and The Camomile Lawn (1992).
