A British actor best known for his role in Bread (1986-1990), Forfar starred as the philandering family patriarch Freddie Boswell in 62 episodes of the Liverpool-set sitcom. He also notably appeared in shows including The New Avengers (1976), The Sweeney (1978), Tutti Frutti (1987) and ChuckleVision (1998-2002).
