Roger Michell

A British director, born in South Africa, who was a double BAFTA winner, as part of the creative teams behind The Lost Honour of Christopher Jefferies (2014) and Persuasion (1995). He was nominated twice more, for Notting Hill (1999) and The Buddha of Suburbia (1993), among various other accolades. His films were often critically praised, with such notable productions as Changing Lanes (2002), The Mother (2003), Enduring Love (2004), Venus (2006), Le Week-end (2013), My Cousin Rachel (2017), documentary Tea With the Dames (2018) and The Duke (2020) in his repertoire.
