A British camera operator who began his career loading clappers on Hammer Horror films such as Scars of Dracula (1970), Bannon would go on to work as a camera operator on the Hollywood horror blockbusters The Mummy Returns (2001) and The Wolfman (2010). His other credits included Event Horizon (1997).
