An American actor best known for appearing in the sci-fi classic Forbidden Planet (1956), Dix also appeared in Forty Guns (1957) and had an uncredited cameo in Live and Let Die (1973). He went on to become a stalwart of horror B-movies including the self-penned Five Bloody Graves (1969).
