Rick Jones

A Canadian television presenter and mime artist, who often went by the moniker Yoffy. He found fame on British television as a presenter on various children’s shows in the 1960s and 1970s, including as one of the original hosts of Play School (1964-1973), as well as Jackanory (1966) and Play Away (1972-1973). He also acted occasionally and was a keen musician, fronting the folk band Meal Ticket. He will be eternally remembered by a certain generation as the creator and host of Fingerbobs (1972).
