Richard Lindley

A British journalist who began his career as a light entertainment reporter before joining ITN’s newly launched News at Ten (1967-1973), Lindley reported with integrity from conflict zones across Africa and the Middle East. He left ITN to join the BBC’s Panorama (1973-1988) where he was famously the first western television journalist to interview Saddam Hussein.
