A British actor, who notched up an impressive roster of film and television credits over his 30-year career. Ray Stevenson’s first big role was in the feature-length The Return of the Native (1994), before landing recurring roles in Band of Gold (1995-1996) and City Central (1998-1999). But it was as Titus Pullo in HBO’s Rome series (2005-2007) that he started to earn international recognition, with prominent parts following in such films as Outpost, Punisher: War Zone (both 2008), The Book of Eli, The Other Guys (both 2010), the three Thor movies (2011-2017), Kill the Irishman, The Three Musketeers (both 2011), the Divergent film series (2014-2016) and RRR (2022). He provided a voice for two animated Star Wars series, Rebels (2016-2017) and The Clone Wars (2020), with his final role as a regular character in the live-action Star Wars mini-series Ahsoka (2023). Other notable television credits included Black Sails (2016-2017), Vikings (2020) and Das Boot (2022).
