A British radio and television producer whose notable credits included Reputations (1979-1983) and The Trial of Lady Chatterley (1980), Speight was also the sole producer of BBC2’s annual Jazz Weeks with Russell Davies. He served as BBC Regional Television Manager, South West between 1987-1992 before going freelance.
