A singer and choreographer on stage and television, Gordeno was an unexpected but successful casting choice in the role of Captain Peter Carlin in the cult sci-fi series UFO (1970-71). He also appeared in popular series such as The Kathy Kirby Show (1964-65) and the film Carry On Columbus (1992).
