Paul Watson

A British producer, director and editor, who pioneered fly-on-the-wall documentaries in the UK and was awarded a BAFTA Special Award in 2008. Paul Watson won his first BAFTA in 1970 for A Year in the Life (1969-1970), and was nominated a further seven times for The Block (1972), twice for 40 Minutes’ ‘The Fishing Party’ (1986), Cutting Edge’s ‘The Home’ (1996), Malcolm & Barbara… A Love Story (1999) and its follow up, Malcolm & Barbara… Love’s Farewell (2007), and Rain in My Heart (2006). He produced and edited 39 episodes of BBC2 documentary series 40 Minutes (1985-1994).
