Paul Mooney

An American actor, writer and comedian, who famously wrote material for Richard Pryor’s stand-up routines. He also wrote for US sketch hit In Living Color and Chappelle’s Show, in which he also occasionally performed. He also acted in several films, including playing Sam Cooke in The Buddy Holly Story (1978) and Junebug in Spike Lee’s Bamboozled (2000).
