Director of Photography, Documentary Filmmaker

A British documentary maker, working as a director, producer and director of photography. After graduating in the early 1980s, he joined BBC North as an assistant film editor, working on local documentaries and the nightly news show, Look North, before becoming a freelance camera operator in 1984. A decade later, he directed and produced a celebratory short film for BAFTA, entitled Reflections: 100 Years of British Cinema.
