An American choreographer and dance instructor, Patsy Swayze trained her late son Patrick Swayze, star of Dirty Dancing (1987), to dance. After coaching John Travolta and choreographing Urban Cowboy (1980) she moved to Los Angeles and choreographed further features including Hope Floats (1998) and One Last Dance (2003).
