A Russian actor and theatre director who was one of the most respected figures in Russia’s artistic communities, Tabakov amassed 160 screen credits during his prolific career. He notably appeared in War and Peace (1966), An Unfinished Piece for Mechanical Piano (1977), Three Stories (1997) and The Admirer (2012).
