An American producer and writer, who is perhaps best known for co-writing Blazing Saddles (), which earned him a BAFTA nomination. As a writer, Norman Steinberg’s credits included US television series Flip (1970-1971), Doctor Doctor (1989-1991) and Chemistry (2011), and the films My Favorite Year (1982), Johnny Dangerously (1984) and Funny About Love (1990). Additional producer credits were earned on Cosby (1996-1998) and Raising Dad (2001-2002), among others.
