A British director of cult exploitation and horror films in the 1960s and '70s before moving into documentaries in the 1980s. Warren is widely considered an innovator within British horror films after leading the move away from Gothic settings to more modern day environments, with such films as Satan’s Slave (1976), Prey (1977), Terror (1978) and Inseminoid (1981).
