An Italian actor, who is perhaps better known in his homeland than internationally. However, he will be a familiar face to fans of The Umbrellas of Cherbourg (1964) in particular, as well as A New World, The Creatures (both 1966), The 5-Man Army, Love and Anger (both 1969) and The English Patient (1996). He was popular in Italy for his roles in television series The Betrothed (1967), Incantesimo (2003) and Tuscan Passion (2013-2015).
