One of America’s finest character actors of the '70s and '80s, Ned Beatty burst onto the scene with an unforgettable performance in 1972’s Deliverance. His lengthy notable screen credits include Nashville (1975), All the President’s Men (1976), Superman I and II (1978, 1980), The Big Easy (1986), Shooter (2007) and Toy Story 3, as voice of the big bad Lotso (2010), but his only Oscar nomination came for his turn in Network (1976).
