Miriam Nelson

An American choreographer who began her career acting and dancing on stage before signing with Paramount, Nelson appeared in films including Double Indemnity (1944). After moving into choreography she worked on iconic sequences like the slow dance in Picnic (1956), and also non-musical sequences like the apartment party in Breakfast at Tiffany’s (1961).
