A British casting director who got her break on The Meaning of Life (1983), Guish cast Colin Firth and Kenneth Branagh in their first lead roles in A Month in the Country (1987). She went on to cast BAFTA-winning films including Four Weddings and a Funeral (1994), Sense & Sensibility (1995), The English Patient (1996) and Shakespeare in Love (1998).
