A French actress, with more than 180 screen credits, who predominantly worked in France but did also have some starring roles in Hollywood-made films, including Under My Skin (1950), If A Man Answers (1962) and The Prize (1963). Micheline Presle’s French output included the likes of Je chante (1938), Falbalas (Paris Frills, 1944), Boule de suif (Angel and Sinner, 1945), Les jeux sont faits (The Chips are Down, 1947), La dame aux camélias (A Lady with Camélias, 1953), Si Versailles m’était conté (Royal Affairs in Versailles, 1953), Infidelity (1961), The Seven Deadly Sins (1962), La Religieuse (The Nun, 1966), The Count of Monte Cristo (1998) and Venus Beauty (1999).
