A British production designer who began his career as an an art director, Seymour made his debut as a production designer in Entertaining Mr Sloane (1970). His credits included Rosebud (1975), Revenge (1990) and Beverly Hills Cop III (1994), and he won a BAFTA for his work on Alien (1979).
