Michael Reed

A British cinematographer, who worked on four James Bond films in a career spanning 40-plus years. While uncredited as a director of photography: second unit for three of them – Goldfinger (1964), Thunderball (1965) and You Only Live Twice (1967) – Michael Reed was the main cinematographer of On Her Majesty’s Secret Service (1969). Other notable screen work included The Adventures of Robin Hood (1957-1958), The Gorgon (1964), Dracula: Prince of Darkness (1966), Rasputin: The Mad Monk (1966), The Saint (1966-1968), The New Avengers (1976), Shout at the Devil (1976) and Press Gang (1990). He was BAFTA nominated for his work on 11-part series Paradise Postponed (1986).
