Marvin Lee Aday was an American singer and actor, who was best known by his stage moniker Meat Loaf. His hugely popular Bat Out of Hell album (1977) catapulted the singer into the limelight, with its ‘sequel’ (1993) helping revive his career, also earning him a Grammy. In terms of film, he landed several prominent roles, with the likes of The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975), Roadie (1980), Wayne’s World (1992), Spice World (1997) and Fight Club (1999). More latterly, he had appeared in the television series Ghost Wars (2017-2018).
