A British actress, who starred in more than 70 film and television productions across her long career in the screen arts. Among Matyelok Gibbs’ feature film credits were supporting roles in Victor Victoria (1982), To Kill a Priest (1988), Erik the Viking (1989), Kafka (1991), Priest (1994), Jack and Sarah (1995), Ever After (1998), Miss Potter, Babel (both 2006), Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 (2010), Your Highness, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy (both 2011) and The Hundred-Foot Journey (2014). Her television work included Grange Hill (1983), The Jewel in the Crown (1984), Blott on the Landscape (1985), Chelworth (1989), Seaforth (1994), All Quiet on the Preston Front (1994-1997), The Vet (1995-1996), The Bill (1989-2003), A Touch of Frost (2001), Rosemary & Thyme (2003) and Getting On (2012).
