A Scottish presenter who began her career as a print journalist campaigning to right public grievances, Faulds Wood took that experience to Watchdog (1985-1993) where she continued to specialise in consumer activism. After being diagnosed with bowel cancer in 1991 she shifted her focus to campaigning for better diagnosis and treatment of the disease through charity and documentaries.
