A British actor, comedian and singer, Percvial was a regular cast member singing topical calypsos on That Was The Week That Was (1962-1963). He became a reliable star of British comedy capers including Carry On Cruising (1962) and Up Pompeii! (1971), and voiced Old Fred in Yellow Submarine (1968).
