A British actress best known for her role on Last of the Summer Wine (1985-2010), Kaplan memorably portrayed Howard’s domineering wife Pearl Sibshaw who was forever wise to his tricks. She spent most of her career on the stage but other screen credits included episodes of Brookside (2000) and Coronation Street (2015).
