A British actor best known for playing Claude Erskine-Brown in Rumpole of the Bailey (1978-1992), Curry’s other notable credits included Inspector Morse (1993), Loch Ness (1996) and Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow (2004). He was also a stalwart of the stage appearing in numerous RSC productions, and authored the book Shakespeare on Stage (2011).
