Judith Miller

Broadcaster, Writer
16 September 1951 to 8 April 2023

A broadcaster and writer, who served as one of the most recognisable experts on the Antiques Roadshow (2007-2021). Judith Miller provided the show with miscellaneous knowledge on some of the more eclectic objects brought in, including ceramics, costume jewellery, vintage fashion, posters and toys. Previously, she had co-hosted The House Detectives (1997-2000) and The Antiques Trail (1995-2002), and went on to appear as a celebrity contestant on a University Challenge Christmas special (2014). Elsewhere, she was the author of more than 100 books on antiques, and in 1979 co-launched the go-to antiques guide book, the Miller’s Antiques Handbook & Price Guide, which is still sold annually today.
