John Gavin

An American actor who began his acting career as a Universal contract star, Gavin notably starred as Julius Caesar in Spartacus (1960) and Sam Loomis in Psycho (1960). He famously came close to securing the role of James Bond, and after retiring from acting became Ronald Reagan’s ambassador to Mexico.
