A Scottish actor who starred in films such as The Dam Busters (1955), Tunes of Glory (1960) and Repulsion (1965), Fraser split his time between the stage and the screen during his early career. He received a BAFTA nomination for Best British Actor for portraying Lord Alfred Douglas in The Trials of Oscar Wilde (1960).
