A Sri Lankan-born actor of British descent who was most readily associated with his villainous roles in Hammer horror films, Carson’s memorable credits included Taste the Blood of Dracula (1970) and Captain Kronos - Vampire Hunter (1974). He enjoyed a prolific acting career that continued after relocating to South Africa in 1983.
