Joel Freeman

An American producer who began his career as an MGM messenger, Freeman then became an assistant director after gaining experience in the Air Force’s First Motion Picture Unit during World War Two. After breaking into producing after proving himself on Camelot (1967) he notably made Finian’s Rainbow (1968) Shaft (1971), and The Octagon (1980).
