A British comedy actor and writer, Lloyd’s acting career peaked with Rowan & Martin’s Laugh-In (1969-1970) before he returned to the UK and focused on writing. He paired with writer David Croft to create the hugely successful Are You Being Served? (1972-1985) and the BAFTA-nominated ‘Allo ‘Allo (1982-1992).
