A British actor who appeared in the original cast of Z Cars (1962-1963, 1978), Kemp went on to roles in the likes of Dr Terror’s House of Horrors (1965), The Games (1970) and Top Secret! (1984). He received a BAFTA nomination for Most Promising Newcomer to Leading Film Roles for his performance in The Blue Max (1966).
