Production Co-ordinator

Jennie Cooke sadly contracted Covid-19 whilst in hospital and died on 25 April 2020 just four months before her 80th birthday. She worked as Richard Lester’s assistant for 30 years and acted as the London contact when he was on location, and later worked as both a production co-ordinator and post-production co-ordinator. She loved both film and theatre and was very knowledgeable about both. On a personal level she was much loved by so many people because of her generosity and helpful nature. She was married to Malcolm Cooke, an editor, and adored her stepson the director Dominic Cooke. A very sad loss to all her devoted friends.
