Jean-Marc Vallée

A Canadian director, producer and editor, whose first major hit internationally was C.R.A.Z.Y. (2005), which he wrote and directed. He followed this with such theatrical releases as The Young Victoria (2009), Wild (2014) and Dallas Buyers Club (2013), the latter earning him an Oscar nomination for editing. On the small screen, he directed the first season of Big Little Lies (2017), which received 16 Emmy nominations and won eight, including for direction, as well as all episodes of Sharp Objects (2018), which garnered him two Emmy nominations.
