An American writer and presenter best known for hosting Inside The Actors Studio (1994-2018), Lipton conducted over 250 interviews with celebrity actors on the show and was renowned for his thoughtful and sympathetic exploration of the craft. He produced a dozen TV specials for Bob Hope and his writing credits included Another World (1965) and Copacabana (1985).
