An Irish cinematographer best known for his work on the BAFTA-winning My Left Foot (1989), Conroy collaborated with director Jim Sheridan on The Field (1990). Earlier in his career he served as electrical supervisor on films including Zardoz (1974), A Bridge Too Far (1977) and Excalibur (1981).
