Ian McNaught-Davis

Mountaineer, Broadcaster
29 August 1929 to 10 February 2014

A British mountaineer who scaled Everest in 1953 and Mutztagh Tower in 1956, McNaught-Davis, before moving into information technology in the 1970s. In 1982 he joined the BBC to front The Computer Programme, and he continued narrating adventure documentaries for another two decades.
